3 Organizational Tips for Your Home Gym

If you keep workout equipment in your home, like weights or yoga mats, you probably know that it can be difficult to find a space to keep it all contained, while being easily accessible. Surprisingly, a pair of free weights just doesn’t make a great coffee table accent! Try these hacks for organizing them.

Use cute, wall-mounted coat hooks for hanging equipment. For corralling your resistance bands, jump ropes or gym bag, try using a wall-mounted hook unit, like you would hang your coats on. Storing them in your entryway also has the bonus of keeping them ready to grab on your way out.

Use a wine rack for your weights. Whether you want to store them out in the open or in a designated closet, turns out a wine rack is the perfect place to keep your free weights all in one place. Sometimes all it takes is a little out-of-the-box thinking!

Keep those mats under the couch (or bed!). When you’re not using a yoga or Pilates mat, keep it accessible by rolling it up and storing it under your couch or bed. Tupperware containers or baskets that are designed for storing wrapping paper rolls are ideal for this.

Your fitness routine doesn’t have to cramp your décor style! With a little creativity, you can keep your workout equipment organized and looking stylish.
