The steps below describe how to set up automatic posting to X. Automatic posting to X is only available on the full version of ACE . If you see the word Upgrade in your ACE menu this indicates that you have the ACE Lite plan and therefore cannot setup automatic posting to X. However ACE Lite members can still manually post to X from the Exclusive Content or Trending Content areas of their ACE account.
Please do the following steps with a desktop or laptop computer, not a phone or tablet.
- Gather your X username and password, you may need this information in a minute.
- Login into ACE (aka, RISMedia’s ACESocial) via one of the options below. If you are already logged into ACE with a computer go to step 3:
- If you have ACE through your company or affiliation, you may need to log into your member area first and then use the single sign-on link to access ACESocial.
- Or, by logging in directly at https://ace.rismedia.com Use login with Facebook IF you setup ACESocial using Facebook, or login with your email address. Use the ‘Forgot your password’ if needed.
- In the ACE menu go to Settings > Social Media Connections and click the word ‘Inactive‘ or the red error message under the X icon and follow the prompts to reconnect.
- Follow all prompts until you are returned to ACE.
NOTE: X will ask you to give ACE permission to post for you. ACE is a secure platform, and will never know your social media usernames or passwords.
