ACE

ACE will email you if there’s an issue posting to your social media. Generally, this indicates the connection between ACE and your social media site(s) has been lost. This can happen for these reasons:

Facebook:

  • If it has been more than 90 days of inactivity.
  • If the user has lost the right to post to the Facebook Page.
  • And in some cases if the user changes their FB password.

LinkedIn:

  • LinkedIn will automatically break the connection every 60 days to force the user to log in to ACESocial to reconnect -thus proving a human has given approval for these automatic posts.
  • Or if the LinkedIn password is changed.

Twitter:

  • Automatic posting can fail if the Twitter password is changed.

To fix the issue:

Step 1

If not already done, please login to ACE.

Step 2

Look to the right side of the Dashboard in the Social Media Connections area.  If there was an issue posting to your social media, a red status message will appear under the social media icon which had the problem. (Example, “Broken” or “No Pages“.)  Click the red status message and follow steps to reconnect.
