December 2022: We wanted to let you know that ACE, along with business partners across many industries, continues to confront frustration as we attempt to work with Facebook to resolve the issue of posting to Facebook from ACE. We would like to provide you with an update and some interim solutions for our valued ACE customers.
On 11-16-2022 ACE began having problems working with Facebook. The problem occurred because Facebook erroneously turned off the ACE application that manages the social posts as well as the ability to login to ACE using Facebook. (This issue is affecting many companies that are trying to use Facebook Apps.) We have been reaching out diligently through the appropriate developer channels to try and get this rectified; however, as many who have tried to work with Facebook in the past know, it may take some time to reach the appropriate level of escalation in their processes.
While we have no doubt that this will be resolved, we do appreciate that our users would like to return to posting content and listings to Facebook as soon as possible. In that regard, we are working on multiple solutions to ensure our users experience the least amount of disruption with the ACE platform.
We are steadfast in our resolve to work with Facebook to rectify this issue, but in the interim, we would like to remind you that you can still manually post to Facebook through the ACE one-click posting process from the Scheduled Content or Exclusive Contents areas found in the ACE dashboard or from the daily posting reminder email. See these tips on how to manually post to Facebook. We would also like to provide these instructions for using Facebook’s scheduling feature for posting ACE content.
We also want to remind our users that this has not affected posting to LinkedIn or Twitter – nor the ACESocial Video app for Instagram for those users who have that feature, nor any other ACE features. ACE is still posting automatically to LinkedIn and Twitter and the option to manually post to LinkedIn and Twitter from the Exclusive Content library remains fully functional.
