ACE

Here is what you must do to resume automatic posting to Facebook Page(s) or other socials:

Please note, ACE can only post to a Facebook business Page. ACE cannot post to your Facebook personal Profile nor will it attempt to post to your FB personal Profile.  Please follow all instructions listed below. 

The steps are fewer for X and LinkedIn.  If it has been a while we suggest that you go to each social platform and click Log Out for each social.  Then log into each social platform so you can test that you know your username and password.

Please do the following steps with a desktop or laptop computer, not a phone or tablet:

  1. Gather your Facebook username and password, you may need this information in a minute.
  2. Login into ACE (aka, RISMedia’s ACESocial) via one of the below options.  If you are already logged into ACESocial with a computer go to step 3:
    • If you have ACE through your company or affiliation, you may need to log into your member area first and then use the single sign-on link to access ACE.
    • Or, if you traditionally access ACE by logging in directly at https://ace.rismedia.com please use the email address and password form. (DO NOT USE the ‘Login with Facebook’ option.) Use the ‘Forgot your password’ at the bottom of that form if needed. Your ACE username is the email address on this email.
  3. In the ACE menu go to Settings > Social Media Connections and click the word ‘Inactive‘ or the red error message under the Facebook icon and follow the prompts to reconnect. DO NOT MODIFY ANY OF THE BLUE FACEBOOK CHECK MARKS. You will be returned to ACE to confirm the Facebook Page(s) for posting.
  4. If FB asks you to grant permissions to  the “pages below” or “all future business pages” – we have found that selecting all future pages works best.  Again, you will be in control of exactly which when you are returned to ACE.
  5. You will be returned to ACE. Slide the toggle to select the Facebook Page(s) and click ‘Update’ or ‘Finish’ to save settings.
  6. Finally, while you are in ACE click ‘Dashboard‘. If you see a red error message under LinkedIn or X(Twitter) icons click the red error message and follow the prompts to repair those connections.
