While Hurricane Sandy may have put a damper on the Halloween spirit, over at RIS headquarters we had a storm of great costume submissions from our readers for the first ever RISMedia Halloween Costume Contest. Below are our top three winners, who will each receive a Starbucks gift card:
Ashley Playford (@NYGIANTS3686) tweeted us this costume that she made with a little help from her dad. Don’t be fooled, it’s an optical illusion—there’s only Ashley in there.
Maurice Vaughn submitted this great office shot of the Better Homes and Gardens Hometown Connection Team in Clarksville, Tenn., dressed as the cast of “Alice in Wonderland.”
The queen of hand-made costumes, Darcy Reaver submitted several impressive photos of her kids throughout the years. Check out the detail on these costumes!
Runners up include Chris Barbeau of Century 21 Jordan-Link as a Zombie REALTOR®, Linda Shilts Steineck and co. as the cast of “Hocus Pocus,” and Kaycee McCoy as the Mac to her boyfriend’s Cheese.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make our first ever Halloween costume contest a huge success! If you’re looking for another chance to win, be sure to check out our Hot Topics contest, where we ask you—the reader—to submit suggestions about what you want to see in Real Estate magazine in 2013. Get all the details here, and be sure to have your voice heard.
Keep an eye out for future photo contests on our Twitter feed, @RISMediaUpdates.
