If that’s not enough to convince someone, consider that more than half of millennials, a group considered to be the new face of the housing market, use mobile search on a daily basis. This is a customer segment you don’t want to lose and must appeal to. A website that is responsive design should do the trick.

A National Association of REALTORS® survey looking at generational trends revealed that 96 percent of homebuyers report using the Internet during the home search process.

Sixty percent of mobile users expect a website to load in less than three seconds. Additionally, studies also show that 57 percent of consumers will not recommend a business with a poorly designed mobile site. That means if you are an agent whose site doesn’t come up clear on a tablet or smartphone, or it takes too long to load because it’s not responsive design compliant, you may be seeing a customer or potential client heading to your local competition.

If you haven’t switched to a responsive design website yet, act now. It’s a good bet that some of your competitors have, and the last thing you want is to lose potential clients because they were unable to access your site correctly with their device. Without a mobile-friendly website, you are just hurting yourself and the future success of your real estate business.

In an effort to help real estate pros make the change, Homes.com recently launched Homes Connect Fusion™, a responsive design website platform for real estate professionals that intuitively adapts content for optimum viewing across all devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones.

Fusion provides professional, custom designed websites using responsive technology to seamlessly showcase content and branding while enhancing the consumer search experience. For more information, read the press release or call us at 888-510-8795.
