St. Patrick’s Day will be here within days, but there is still time to take advantage of any free moments you may have this weekend to put together a few marketing ideas before the holiday.
St. Patrick’s Day is a religious holiday, to be sure, but March 17 has become a widely celebrated cultural event in the U.S., and most of your clients will be delighted to receive something from you that tips a hat to the day. Here are a few ways to promote yourself and your company for this popular holiday:
Holiday Postcards
Sending postcards to an established list of your former and current clients is a trusted way to touch as many individuals as possible. Mailers are also inexpensive and work efficiently to get your message across. Also, keep in mind that this is a holiday mailer, so keep the focus on St. Paddy’s Day, but don’t forget to include a call to action.
Partner With a Local Business
Developing strong relationships with local businesses throughout the year is integral to any real estate professional’s marketing strategy. St. Paddy’s Day is a great event to leverage one of those relationships around—preferably with a local Irish restaurant—and see if you can provide branded mugs or shirts for them to make available for patrons. Don’t be afraid to get creative!
Host an Event
Whether it’s at a local food establishment or at your own office, hosting a party is always a great idea. Be sure to have plenty of branded goodies that guests can take home. You can also include a branded step and repeat for folks to use when posting to social media; it will give your party that extra customized touch. This one might be difficult to pull off if you haven’t done any planning yet, so plan ahead for next year if you haven’t yet started putting an event together.
Agents, are you doing anything special for your clients this St. Patrick’s Day?
