Fourth of July weekend is just a week away! Major holidays present real estate professionals the opportunity to reach out to past clients and attract new business. Next month presents an even larger opportunity—Fourth of July is the biggest holiday yet that we can celebrate as we strive for a post-pandemic world.
On top of that, the U.S. real estate markets are still bustling and, as summer heats up, there are no indications yet that they will cool off. Here are some ways to earn referrals over Fourth of July weekend:
Throw a Party
With many countries around the globe still struggling with keeping the pandemic under control, we’re still not in a “post-pandemic” world. However, in the U.S., we have been able to bend the curve with mass vaccinations and have since returned to some semblance of normalcy with many mask mandates lifted. With limited capacity, now may be the perfect opportunity to throw a small outdoor party for some in your sphere of influence.
Send a Gift
The tried-and-true method of reminding your past clients you exist has never been more important. If you’re understandably still not comfortable with throwing a party, sending out gifts may be your next best option. It doesn’t need to be over the top, but a small candy or other branded goodie that can be shipped out quickly is perfect. If you’re strapped for funds or time, an email blast or mailer is a good Plan B.
Host a Contest
This is another fun, COVID-safe way to reconnect with your clients. Hosting a contest on Facebook is an easy way to attract more prospects while also upping your social media presence. Again, you don’t need to go crazy with the prize or actual contest. A simple contest, such as having your followers guess how many red, white and blue M&Ms there are in a jar, and a prize in the form of a gift card to a local restaurant or other business, should do the trick!
Agents, what are some other ways you’re planning on earning referrals over the holiday weekend?
