Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate recently announced that it has entered Hawaii with the addition of prominent real estate brokerage Advantage Realty, a former Prudential Real Estate Services affiliate in Oahu, to its franchise network. The newly named Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Advantage Realty will continue to operate under the leadership of its CEO, Myron Kiriu, one of Hawaii’s top-producing real estate professionals. Kevin Inn has been promoted to president of the brokerage firm.
“Growing into the Hawaii market is a significant milestone for the brand, especially as we align ourselves with such a strong real estate force as Myron Kiriu and his team,” says Sherry Chris, president and CEO, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC. “Bringing our lifestyle brand into Hawaii is such a natural fit, as Hawaii is known for being rich in tradition, culture and exceptional offerings for primary and second home residents.”
This announcement comes as the brokerage celebrates its 10-year anniversary serving the island of Oahu. Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Advantage Realty intends to expand its presence statewide with a new office scheduled to open in later this year on Oahu’s North Shore.
Kiriu established Advantage Realty in 2004 after 14 years as a top-producing REALTOR® in Hawaii with a goal of creating a real estate company committed to delivering the highest level of customer service.
“We have fostered a culture of integrity, unmatched work ethic and creative thinking that applies to the full cycle of a real estate transaction,” says Kiriu. “As a firm believer in the ‘client-first’ approach, we exemplify the importance of building quality relationships, which aligns with providing a Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate experience to all of whom we serve. We have so much to celebrate today and our new affiliation helps position our company for the future.”
Inn most recently served as vice president of sales and business development at Advantage Realty, a position he held for seven years. Active in professional and community organizations, he is chair of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS® East Oahu Regional Group, treasurer of the Hawaii Chapter of the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers and president of the United States Tennis Association’s Hawaii Pacific Section.
Inn says, “Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Advantage Realty prides itself on going above and beyond to serve the quality of life that the Hawaiian Islands embody. We are strategically focused on the smart use of technology for enhancing the home buying and selling processes.” The brokerage provides clients a personalized GPS-enabled mobile real estate listing app. Also, with a large contingent of international residents who come from different backgrounds, many of the company’s real estate professionals are multilingual.
