PropStream—the California-based real estate software platform—announced the release of State Search, an update that lets users search an entire state directly from the Property Search bar. The update continues PropStream’s focus on simpler, more flexible property research workflows.
According to a release, users will be able to search by state alongside existing county, city, ZIP codes and APN options. The new update also includes clearly labeled state suggestions to make it easier to distinguish states from cities with the same, or similar names. State Search is now available on desktop and in the PropStream mobile app.
“Deciding where to focus your search efforts is just as important as finding the right property,” PropStream CEO Brian Tepfer said. “State Search expands our existing property search experience with a broader geographic starting point, so customers can explore beyond familiar ZIP codes and see where opportunities align with their goals. It’s about giving them more flexibility in where they start to complement their search and provide more opportunity for results.”
To get started, enter a state in PropStream’s Property Search bar and select the suggestion labeled “State.” “State” and “City” options appear separately where applicable, such as New York State and New York, NY. Or toggle on the new AI Search feature to describe your location and property criteria in everyday language.
Per the release, State Search provides another starting point within the familiar PropStream search experience. Users such as investors, wholesalers and agents can then narrow results with PropStream’s 165+ filters to identify properties for further research and outreach.
